Tea consumption, production expected to rise but effects of climate change loom
Global tea consumption and production are projected to keep rising over the next decade, driven by demand in developing and emerging countries. According to a new report by the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, this will create new rural income opportunities and improve food security in tea-producing countries.
