Salmonella outbreak linked to eggs continues
On September 8, Gravel Ridge Farms recalled cage-free large eggs because they might be contaminated with Salmonella. As of October 1, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported 38 people from seven states infected with the outbreak strain of Salmonella enteritidis.
