IFTSA Undergraduate Research Competition

Phi Tau Sigma partners with the IFT Student Association to offer the Undergraduate Research competition.  The Undergraduate Research Competition is a great opportunity for IFT undergraduate student members who are conducting independent research in food science and technology to showcase their exceptional work.

The competition features both an oral and poster component. Abstracts, oral presentations and poster presentations will be judged by a panel of three IFT members. IFTSA provides travel grants for the six finalists and following the competition the top three finalists are awarded monetary prizes of $1,000, $750, and $250 respectively.
