Rules & Guidelines
This program is open to all IFT members in good standing. Credit may be earned for referring IFT regular members (including those who may meet qualification for professional membership) only. New student members will not be counted in Member Referral Program totals. Employees of IFT and members of their immediate families and households are not eligible.
To receive credit for a new IFT regular member, the referring member's name must appear in the "Referred by" section of the
membership application
.
In order to be considered a new member, the individual must not have been an active member in IFT for 15 months or longer.
In order for a Section to receive credit for each new member, the name of the Section the new member will join must appear in the appropriate area of the application, along with the name of the referring member.
A new IFT regular member is officially credited to the referring member when a completed
membership application
and dues have been received and processed by IFT.
A new member is officially credited to the referring member and to the Section only when a completed
membership application
and dues have been received at IFT.
All
applications
and membership dues must be received between July 1, 2011, and close of business on February 29, 2012, to be eligible for the Summer/Fall Membership Referral Program.
Referring members will be entered into the semi-annual and grand prize drawings, as announced by IFT throughout the program. Referring members will receive one entry into the prize drawing for each new, paid member recruited during the designated time period.
Program rules and prizes are subject to change by IFT. By entering the contest, members agree that IFT's decisions are final and not open to challenge.
No purchase necessary to enter or win. The number of referred member entries received determines your odds of winning. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Void where prohibited. IFT reserves the right to change the rewards offered.
To enter the drawing without referring a new member, send your written request for a Membership Referral Program rewards entry form to Membership at IFT headquarters. A form will be mailed to you. Complete the form, return it by mail to IFT Membership, and you will be entered into the drawing.
