Remaining an IFTSA Chapter

IFT Student Association (IFTSA) Chapters must meet requirements as the minimum criteria to remain active chapters. Resources are available to support each chapter's success.

Requirements

All existing IFTSA Chapters (both currently active and dormant) will be required to provide the following information to IFTSA through three different forms: Chapter Health Surveys 1 & 2 and the Officer Report Form. The links to these forms will be shared with the Chapter President and Advisor via email. Information asked includes the following:

  • Name of Chapter Advisor (must be an active IFT member)
  • Name of Chapter President (must be an active IFTSA member)
  • Number of active chapter members
  • Number of meetings and dates the meetings are held (a minimum of three per year)
  • Participation in at least one IFTSA activity or event

Chapters that fail to meet the requirements for consecutive years may be subject to chapter termination.

Upon termination, chapters must reapply for approval from both the IFTSA and IFT Boards before they can be recognized as an IFT Student Chapter.
