AACT seeks applications for student scholarship

The American Association of Candy Technologists (AACT) is seeking applicants for the 2017–2018 John Kitt Memorial Scholarship. Students showing a demonstrated interest in confectionery technology, attending an accredited four-year college or university, and majoring in a food science, chemical science, or biological science can apply online at aactcandy.org/aactscholarship.asp. The award will be paid in installments of $2,500 per semester ($5,000 total), upon verification of enrollment.

The application deadline for the award is April 4, 2017. The scholarship winner will be announced in May for the Fall 2017 semester.
