Pasta fashioned from veggies
Birds Eye has created a new line of 100% vegetable pastas that provide a healthy alternative to starchier side dishes. Veggie Made Pastas feature vegetables such as zucchini, spinach, and lentils that are made into pasta dough in much the same manner that regular pasta is made.
“It’s a guilt-free way to enjoy the comforts of pasta with a full serving of vegetables, without having to boil water or clean pots, making it an easy choice to include in holiday recipes or any meal,” says Risa Cretella, vice president of marketing for Birds Eye.
Veggie Made Pasta comes in spinach lentil flavor with alfredo sauce, or in zucchini lentil flavor with marinara or cheddar sauce or plain. The pastas can be found nationwide in the frozen food aisle at a suggested retail price of $3.49 for a 10-ounce package.

The fruit has become the source of over 50 studies that support its health benefits, including its anti-inflammatory properties, and use as a natural sleep aid and regulator of the immune system.
The Tart Cherry Juice Concentrate will be available to consumers in select U.S. markets through the company’s retailer network for a suggested retail price of $9.99 for a 16-ounce bottle of the all-natural juice and $11.99 for the organic juice.
