Bob’s Red Mill® Low-carb Bread Mix and Bob’s Red Mill Low-carb Baking Mix have only 6 g of net carbohydrates or less per serving. Both all-natural mixes contain high-fiber oat bran, wheat bran, soy flour, and whole-grain flaxseed and can be used in recipes that call for standard mixes. Atlanta, Ga.–based Coca-Cola Co. has launched a line of lowcalorie juice drinks called Minute Maid Light™. The flavors of the beverages, available in four-packs of 500-mL plastic bottles, are Raspberry Passion, Mango Tropical, and Guava Citrus. The products are made with real fruit juice, contain 5 kcal/8-fl-oz serving, and are available nationally.

Van’s International Foods now offers a new line of low-carbohydrate waffles in three flavors: Van’s All Natural Carb Manager Homestyle Waffles, Flax Waffles, and Butter Pecan Waffles. Available at most natural food stores and supermarkets, each serving has 4 g of carbohydrates, 12 g of protein, 8 g of fiber, and no trans fats. They are also dairy free and kosher. One box contains six waffles. Van’s family recipe for waffles was introduced at the 1964 New York World’s Fair, and the company has since grown to become the country’s leading brand of frozen, all-natural waffles.

VerMints Inc., the producer of VerMints® all-natural breath mints and pastilles made with organic and natural ingredients, introduces three new flavors: Gingermint, made with natural ground ginger root; Chai, infused with black tea and spices; and Café Express, flavored with coffee from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters®. These new flavors, along with two others, are distributed in the New England, Southern California, and East Coast markets.
