IFT Leadership Election; Attend IFT’s premier event; Meeder joins Wixon

IFT Leadership Election
IFT has announced the slate of candidates for the 2013 Leadership Election, which will run from Feb. 13 to March 14, 2013.

The candidates for President-Elect are Mary Ellen Camire and P. Michael Davidson. The candidates for members of the Board of Directors are Casimir Akoh, Martin Cole, Anne Goldman, Dallas Hoover, Cathy Kapica, Larry Keener, Jean-Francois Meullenet, and Conrad Rebello. The candidates to serve as members of the Nominations and Elections Committee include Bruce Ferree, Mario Ferruzzi, Martha Rhodes Roberts, Lu Ann Williams, and Raymond Winger.

IFT’s voting membership elects one member for President-Elect, four members for the Board of Directors, and three members for the Nominations & Elections Committee. IFT members will be able to cast their ballots electronically from any Internet-accessible computer worldwide. IFT will send out an “Election Open” message via e-mail on Feb. 13, 2013. Attend IFT’s premier event
Registration for the 2013 IFT Annual Meeting & Food Expo® will open on March 1, 2013. All of the events will allow those who attend to learn about the newest trends, products, ingredients, technologies, and science and to connect with some of the industry’s most influential professionals.

The 2013 IFT Annual Meeting & Food Expo will be held July 13–16, 2013, in Chicago, Ill. Complete details about the event will be posted to www.ift.org/IFT13  over the course of the next several weeks.

Meeder joins Wixon
Wixon has hired Jeanne Meeder as Industrial Ingredients and Consumer Products Director. Meeder will manage staff in the Industrial Ingredients and Consumer Products Labs. She is responsible for new product development, product reformulation, and product optimization. She is a Professional Member of IFT.
