Probiotic cereal supports gut health
Kellogg has introduced a new cereal with live and active probiotic cultures, aimed at making it easy for women to start their day with a breakfast food they can feel good about. Special K Nourish Berries & Peaches with Probiotics features a peach-flavored flake and is rich in wholesome ingredients, including a blend of blueberries, raspberries, peaches, and yogurty pieces. With 12 grams of whole grains, it is also a good source of fiber.
“Our goal is to empower women to feel confident in their food choices,” says Christie Crouch, director of marketing for Special K. “We know digestive wellness is top of mind for many women, and it can be tough to sort through all the options out there. With new Special K Nourish Peaches & Berries with Probiotics, we’re delivering the good bacteria, along with iron and vitamins, to women who are looking to fuel their day.”

Girl Scout Cookie–inspired yogurt
Yoplait has debuted three new yogurt flavors inspired by Girl Scout Cookies: Yoplait Whips! Girl Scouts Thin Mints, Yoplait Whips! Girl Scouts Peanut Butter Chocolate, and Yoplait Original Girl Scouts Caramel Coconut. The three new flavors are made with live and active cultures, are gluten free, and do not contain high fructose corn syrup.
“For those who wish they had more ways to enjoy their favorite chocolate mint, peanut butter chocolate, and caramel coconut flavors, we have three delicious new yogurts inspired by America’s most popular Girl Scout Cookie flavors,” says Doug Martin, business unit director, Yoplait. “Girl Scouts of the USA does extraordinary things for girls like teaching them valuable life and business skills through the Girl Scout Cookie Program, which is why we are honored to work with the organization.”
The Thin Mints and Peanut Butter Chocolate flavors will be available in a 4-ounce cup, and the Caramel Coconut flavor will be available in a 6-ounce cup for a suggested retail price of 67 cents.
Chai teas with a twist
Tea Forté has come up with a twist on traditional chai tea with Chakra, a collection of spicy, organic tea blends designed to encourage mental clarity and well-being. Offered in five flavors—Maté Mantra, Vanilla Veda, Ginger Guru, Rooibus Raja, and Turmeric Tantra—the collection adds new notes to the traditional masala chai bouquet, giving the tea an exotic spin.
