Skyr blended with fruit and nuts

Icelandic Provisions has introduced a new sensorial experience with Fruit & Nuts skyr, which blends inclusions such as almonds, apples, and coconut into the skyr for an open-and-enjoy textural experience.

According to the company’s culinary-minded team, the flavor combinations are designed to awaken the senses, invigorate the palate, and stimulate the mind. Crafted for people who believe their food choices play a critical role in health, Icelandic Provisions Fruit & Nuts provides creaminess, nutty crunch, and the chewiness of large fruit in a wholesome snack. In addition to being lower in sugar than many bars, energy drinks, or shakes, Fruit & Nuts skyr provides 11 grams of protein.

The new line from Icelandic Provisions is available in three varieties—Apple Cinnamon with Almonds, Coconut with Almonds, and Peach Apricot with Almonds—and can be found at Whole Foods, as well as additional retailers starting in 2021, for a suggested retail price of $1.99.

Pumpkin spice socks it to seltzer

Braxton Brewing has welcomed fall with the introduction of VIVE Pumpkin Spice Hard Seltzer. The seasonal offering reflects the company’s desire to play on the success of consumer tastes in other alcoholic beverages. The result is a refreshing version of a traditional flavor profile that delivers a better-for-you alcoholic seltzer with 100 calories, 2 grams of carbs, and 5% alcohol per can.

“There are few other products where a flavor profile and a customer base align so directly, that we wanted to be sure that we nailed the flavor,” explained Jake Rouse, co-founder and CEO, in a press release. “VIVE Pumpkin Spice is likely going to be laughed at initially, but when you try it, you’ll quickly understand why we’re thrilled to launch!”

VIVE Pumpkin Spice Hard Seltzer can be found at select Kroger stores throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee for a suggested retail price of $9.99 per six-pack.

Frozen-fresh grain-free pastas

Cappello’s, maker of frozen-fresh, real-ingredient foods, debuted two new grain-free pastas: Sweet Potato Gnocchi and Almond Flour Spaghetti. Available in multi-serve sizes, the new pastas are suitable for paleo and gluten-free diets. The products represent another step in the company’s mission to move the prepackaged concept in a more health-forward, nutritionally relevant direction.

The Sweet Potato Gnocchi is rolled in nutrient-filled almond flour, making for a versatile and flavorful dough. Almond Flour Spaghetti puts a grain-free twist on a pasta classic. Both are non-GM, kosher, and free of dairy.

Cappello’s Sweet Potato Gnocchi and Almond Flour Spaghetti are available in the freezer aisle of grocers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $9.99.
