The fall season means the return of pumpkin spice offerings, and Chobani is adding to its lineup of fall-themed products. The brand recently announced the launch of Chobani Oatmilk Pumpkin Spice, a flavored oat milk drink.

“Fall beverages are in demand earlier than ever this year,” said Chief Innovation Officer Niel Sandfort in a press release.

The new beverage from Chobani is made from whole grain oats. It is free of dairy, gluten, and lactose, providing a vegan option for consumers to enjoy this fall. Chobani Oatmilk Pumpkin Spice can be served on its own over ice or incorporated into other applications, such as coffee, oatmeal, and smoothies.

One serving, or one cup of oat milk, contains 100 calories, 1 gram of protein, and 10% of one’s daily calcium value. The beverage is made without GMO ingredients, artificial flavors, or nuts.

Chobani Oatmilk Pumpkin Spice, which comes in 32-ounce cartons, is available at major U.S. retailers for a suggested retail price of $4.29.

Stuffed marshmallow treats

Stuffed Puffs announced the launch of its new product line, Stuffed Puffs Filled Marshmallow BITES. These bite-sized snacks are available in four flavors: S’mores, Birthday Cake, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Cookies ‘n Creme.

Building on the brand’s 2019 launch of milk chocolate–filled marshmallows, the new BITES are smaller and sold in resealable packaging, making them suitable for snacking.

Stuffed Puffs BITES have a crunchy, flavored coating and are filled with a creamy center. The S’mores, Birthday Cake, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch offerings contain 90 calories per serving (two marshmallows). The Cookies ‘n Creme offering contains 100 calories per serving. Stuffed Puffs BITES have between 12 and 15 grams of sugar and between 1.5 and 2 grams of fat per serving.

“Traditionally, marshmallows have been used as an ingredient, versus enjoyed on their own,” said Michael Tierney, Stuffed Puffs CEO and founder, in a press release. “With Stuffed Puffs, we’ve shifted the consumer perception and turned marshmallows into a treat people are enjoying straight out of the bag.”

Stuffed Puffs BITES are available for purchase throughout the United States for a suggested retail price of $3.59 per 2.68 oz bag.

An Indonesian classic with chickpeas

Franklin Farms, a division of Keystone Natural Holdings, launched its Chickpea Tempeh, a new plant-based offering that is rich in protein and dietary fiber and made without soy.

Tempeh is a popular plant-based protein product in Indonesia, and it is typically made by fermenting soybeans. The fermentation process causes the soybeans to bind together, creating a firm, block-shaped cake. Franklin Farms’ version is made with a similar fermentation process, just replacing soybeans with chickpeas.

“With the success of our chickpea tofu and the rising number of people looking to diversify their plant-based diets, these innovative products are a perfect way to meet the needs of today’s consumer,” said Kenny Sung, CEO of Keystone Natural Holdings, in a press release. “We hope consumers will enjoy this additional plant-based meat alternative that provides an option to those with soy allergies.”

One serving of chickpea tempeh, or 75 grams, contains 9 grams of protein, 9 grams of dietary fiber, and 160 calories. The product is non-GMO, cholesterol-free, gluten-free, and kosher. The tempeh can be added to a sandwich, wrap, or stir-fry.

Franklin Farms Chickpea Tempeh can be purchased at 32 stores in the Northeast region of the United States.ft
