Call for Proposals
The deadline for proposal submissions is now closed. For those of you who previously submitted your proposal, here are the key dates to keep in mind:

- December 4, 2024: Call for Proposals and Call for Reviewers Close at 11:59 PM CT
- December 12 – January 6, 2025: Tier 1 Review Period
- December – February 2025: Annual Meeting Scientific Program Advisory Panel (AMSPAP) Review Period
- March 3, 2025: Submitters Notified Status of Their Proposals
Call for Abstracts
Do you have original, quality research focused on the science of food? IFT wants to hear from you! Submit your abstract and if selected, you will have the opportunity to be a poster presenter at IFT FIRST. Keep these dates in mind as you prepare your submission.
Call for Abstract Submission Timeline
- January 9, 2025: Call for Abstracts and Reviewers Closes at 11:59 PM CT
- January 23 – February 7, 2025: Review Period
- Early March: Submitters Notified Status of Their Abstract
Call for Abstract Reviewers
Make an impact on shaping poster presentations by serving as a Technical Research Paper Reviewers. Selected volunteers will be responsible for evaluating abstracts which may be presented as posters at IFT FIRST. Apply before January 9, 2025, to provide your expertise and knowledge to our Science FIRST program.
