Interested in IFTSA webmaster BOF at IFT13
Hello! Â I will be attending IFT13 this July and I was interested in either joining or starting a IFTSA webmaster BOF session. BOFs are informal meetings at conferences like IFT13 where "birds of a feather" may flock together. Â My intention is to gather fellow IFTSA (student club) webmasters so we can discuss issues pertaining to maintaining websites for student organizations. Â I would love to hear what worked -- and what hasn't worked -- for you guys, so I can help my executive team make the best of what we have. What's the best way to do this? Â I don't yet have much of a schedule for what I'll be doing when at the convention, so I don't know the best days or times to meet. 2013 AAAS Charles Valentine Riley Memorial Lecture, June 25
IFT and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) invite you to attend the 2013 Charles Valentine Riley Memorial Lecture at the AAAS headquarters (1200 New York Avenue, NW, Washington, DC) on June 25 at 4:00pm (registration will open at 3:30pm). Dr. Stephen P. Long, Gutgesell Endowed University Professor of Plant Biology and Crop Sciences at the University of Illinois, will present keynote remarks on the role that food, agriculture and natural resources play in providing for a secure food supply and a sustainable economy. Immediately following the lecture, there will be a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Per Pinstrup-Andersen, H. E. Babcock Professor of Food, Nutrition and Public Policy; J.
