Plant-based frozen entrées

Daring Foods launched five new frozen entrées, which feature the brand’s plant-based chicken alternative. Designed to provide a quick and nutritious meal for health-conscious consumers, the new entrées contain over 16 grams of protein and between 350 to 460 calories per meal. The meals can be cooked in the microwave in 3½ minutes.

The new frozen entrées come in five varieties: Daring Fly by Jing Fried Rice Plant Chicken Bowl (available exclusively at Target), Spicy Fajita Plant Chicken Bowl, Teriyaki Plant Chicken Bowl, Harvest Plant Chicken Bowl, and Penne Primavera Bowl. All five varieties are gluten-free and non-GMO.

The Daring Foods frozen entrées are available at U.S. grocery stores for a retail price of $7.99.

Frozen yogurt treats

Adding to the successful launch of frozen Greek yogurt and pints in 2023, Enlightened announced the release of Frozen Yogurt Bark. These offerings combine Greek yogurt, premium chocolate, and freshly frozen fruit for a small bite of sweetness.

“We are thrilled to introduce our new frozen yogurt bark to the growing frozen snacking category,” said CEO and founder Michael Shoretz in a press release.

Enlightened Frozen Yogurt Bark is available in three flavors: Triple Berry, Banana Peanut Butter, and Pineapple Coconut. One serving, or two to four pieces of the yogurt bark, contains between 100 and 110 calories. The Frozen Yogurt Bark is also gluten-free and certified kosher.

Enlightened Frozen Yogurt Bark is available at U.S. Walmart and Raley’s stores for a suggested retail price of $6.99 per package.

Taco Bell creations at home

Taco Bell Partnered with Kraft Heinz to launch the Taco Bell at Home line, allowing consumers to enjoy some of the fast-food chain’s most popular menu items at home.

The new line includes the Crunchwrap Supreme and Chipotle Chicken Quesadilla Cravings Kits. The Cravings Kits include four servings of proprietary ingredients, seasonings, and sauces. Consumers can add their protein of choice and other ingredients to create their personalized take on classic Taco Bell offerings.

“As we kick off 2024, we’re focused on finding the white spaces at retail where we can make an impact for fans and develop products we know they will be excited to try,” said Alan Kleinerman, vice president of disruptive innovation at Kraft Heinz, in a press release. “Our partnership with Taco Bell is a great example of this.”
