The recipient will be recognized for their contributions to advancing food safety through groundbreaking research that supports IFT’s vision of a world where science and innovation are connected and universally accepted as essential to improving food for everyone.

Award: $3,000 honorarium and a crystal award from IFT

Criteria & Eligibility: Nominees must be directly involved in microbial food safety research. Their research outcomes must show a positive impact on public safety and advance the overall safety of the food supply. The nominee’s work should align with IFT’s goals of improving food safety and enhancing the global food system through scientific innovation.
