Award: $3,000 honorarium and a crystal award from IFT

Criteria & Eligibility: Nominees must be directly involved in microbial food safety research. Their research outcomes must show a positive impact on public safety and advance the overall safety of the food supply. The nominee’s work should align with IFT’s goals of improving food safety and enhancing the global food system through scientific innovation.
