Award Description: Honors an individual who has demonstrated excellence and leadership abilities leading to the successful development or sustenance of a cooperative organization. This award supports IFT’s goal of recognizing leaders and their work as key contributors to positive change in the global food system.
Award: $3,000 honorarium from the Myron Solberg Endowment of Feeding Tomorrow Fund and a crystal award from IFT
Criteria & Eligibility: The nominee must have demonstrated leadership abilities that led to the successful development or sustenance of a cooperative organization dedicated to addressing significant challenges in the science of food. The organization should represent collaboration across two or more of the following sectors: industry, government, academia. In addition to fostering cooperation, the nominee’s work should reflect IFT’s vision of improving food for everyone.
