New Volunteer Opportunity: 2020–2021 Nominations & Elections Committee

Are you looking for a way to give back and help ensure the long-term success of IFT? Consider nominating yourself for the IFT Nominations & Elections Committee. In this volunteer role, you will help screen and select the slate of candidates for the IFT Board of Directors and President-elect for the IFT Board of Directors for the 2021–2022, which is then presented to IFT’s membership for a vote in early 2021. Members of the Nominations and Elections Committee can expect to participate in a committee meeting during the IFT Annual Event & Food Expo, taking place July 2020 in Chicago, followed by two teleconference calls in September and October. The Nominations & Elections Committee will meet in the fall to conduct video interviews with IFT President-elect and Board of Directors candidates.

Completed nomination forms should be submitted to IFT staff liaison Anna Desai and are due no later than Thursday, December 12, 2019.
