Award Information
This award honors individual or team accomplishments in research and development (R&D). This award recognizes groundbreaking R&D work that has made a substantial impact on the global food system, in alignment with IFT’s vision of improving food for everyone.
Award: $5,000 honorarium and a crystal award from IFT
Criteria & Eligibility
Nominees may be individuals or teams from any sector within the food field (academic, industrial, government, consulting, or other endeavors). They must have led a research and development program resulting in a significant, practical, and innovative achievement in food science and technology that positively influences the global food system.
Team nominations may include a maximum of five people. Nominations should identify the role of each team member, highlighting those primarily responsible for the achievement.
