The 2021 IFT Nonthermal Processing Division and European Federation of Food Science & Technology (EFFoST) Virtual Workshop titled Commercialization, Emerging Technologies, Consumer Acceptance, and Environmental Impact is a 2-day virtual workshop that will take place Tuesday 5 October 2021 - Wednesday 6 October 2021 and feature oral sessions, poster sessions, lab videos, round-tables, social networking, and break-out sessions with renowned experts in HPP, PEF, light-based technologies, plasma, irradiation, food sanitizers, food packaging, and sustainability. This diverse, cutting-edge Virtual Workshop will include special sessions such as a COVID pandemic highlight on viruses and a full-day on bacterial spores with Grahame Gould, Peter Setlow, and Alexander Mathys, and social networking with student-led activities.
