One-week Practical Short Course on Extruded Pet Foods and Treats will be presented on July 7-11 2025 at Texas A&M University in hybrid format. The program will cover information on pet food nutrition, material handling, preconditioning, extrusion of pet foods, extruded and non-extruded treats, baked pet treats, raw material, extrusion hardware, automation, meat handling in pet food, drying, cooling, and enrobing, food safety, pet food and treat shelf life and trouble shooting.
