Gluten-Free Cookie Mix, Fair-inspired Snacks; An Omega-3 Rich Loaf

Fair-inspired snacks
Inspired by flavors of the state fair, Flipz recently launched its new State Fair lineup of pretzel treats. These snacks combine salty pretzels with sweet, creamy coatings, and the new flavors take inspiration from concession stand staples.
The two new flavors are State Fair Churros and State Fair Strawberry Shortcake. The Churros variety combines salty, crunchy pretzels with a cinnamon sugar coating and is drizzled with milk chocolate. The Strawberry Shortcake offering features a strawberry, sweet cream, and cake-flavored coating.
“The state fair is a staple moment of the summer season, and we were inspired by that energy,” said Simge Weinling-Dogrular, head of marketing at parent company pladis Americas, in a press release.
Flipz State Fair offerings can be purchased at retailers such as Albertsons, CVS, and Kroger across the United States for a suggested retail price of $7.98.

An omega-3 rich loaf
Silver Hills Sprouted Bakery launched its new Omegamazing loaf, which is made with whole and ground flax and chia seeds. Each slice of bread contains 400 milligrams of omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).
“Omega-3s are an essential part of our diet, and flaxseeds and chia seeds are two of the best dietary sources of these excellent nutrients,” said Desiree Nielsen, registered dietitian and Silver Hills Sprouted Bakery ambassador, in a press release. “The new Omegamazing from Silver Hills Sprouted Bakery is a tasty and convenient way to add more omega-3s to your daily diet.”
Silver Hills Sprouted Bakery’s new loaf is Certified Vegan, Glyphosate free, kosher, Non-GMO Verified, and peanut- and nut-free. Each slice contains 4 grams of fiber, 5 grams of protein, and 85 calories.
Silver Hills Sprouted Bakery’s Omegamazing loaf is available for purchase at retail locations across the United States and Canada for a suggested retail price of $5.99.

Gluten-free cookie mix
Raised Gluten Free introduced three new cookie mixes that are vegan, gluten-free, and made without artificial ingredients or preservatives. The brand’s founders say that this product will help kids learn how to bake.
“Our new cookie mixes give children a chance to feel accomplished in the kitchen, while also creating a sweet treat to enjoy with friends and family, no matter the dietary differences,” said cofounder and CEO Rosa Dixon in a press release.
The cookies are made by combining a vegan butter alternative and applesauce with the cookie mix. The packaging features directions that children can easily follow.
Raised Gluten Free’s cookie mixes are available in three varieties: Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate, and Confetti. Each 11-ounce package bakes up to 12 cookies. The cookie mixes are free of the top nine allergens, including dairy, eggs, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and sesame. One serving, equal to two cookies once baked, contains 130–140 calories, depending on the variety.
Raised Gluten Free cookie mixes are available at select U.S. Kroger locations for a suggested retail price of $7.99.
