About the Internship

bioMérieux is seeking a student currently enrolled in a BS or master’s degree program to begin an internship in summer 2020 at their Lombard, IL location. The purpose of this internship is to assist with the company’s AMERICAS Marketing projects, as defined with the marketing management team. This is accomplished by executing marketing tasks or projects supporting various food segment priorities.

What bioMérieux Looks for in an Intern:

  • A minimum GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 required
  • Scientific background or current study in Food Microbiology/Science
  • Marketing specialization is desirable, but not required
  • Must have good organization, people, and communication skills
  • Have the ability to work efficiently and effectively
  • Knowledge of the Food market preferred
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g., CRM tools, online analytics, and Google Adwords)
  • Salesforce experience a plus, but not required
  • Skills associated with good project management
