Sweet and Spicy Hot Sauces, High-Protein Snack Packs, Organic, Zero-Sugar Soda

Sweet and spicy hot sauces
Local Hive recently launched its lineup of Honey Hot Sauces, which includes seven varieties ranging in heat level. The brand uses honey sourced from beekeepers across the United States for its sweet-spicy sauces that are suitable for a variety of applications.
“Within the fast-growing hot sauce category, we found there was a demand for options that offered a sweeter taste profile,” said Chief Commercial Officer Cale Nelson in a press release. “By adding our American honey blends to classic hot sauce recipes, we’re able to give consumers a diverse range of sweet-heat options to fit a variety of spice preferences.”
Local Hive’s Honey Hot Sauces are available in seven flavors that vary in spice level: Original (medium), Hatch Chile with Southwest Honey (medium), Mango Habanero (medium), Cayenne with Southeast Honey (medium), Chipotle with Texas Honey (medium), Sriracha (hot), and Habanero (hot). Each sauce contains fewer than 10 calories and 2 grams of sugar per one-tablespoon serving. Additionally, the Honey Hot Sauces are made without preservatives or artificial flavors.
Local Hive Honey Hot Sauces are available for purchase at Whole Foods Market with a larger retail launch expected in November. Each 6-ounce glass bottle has a suggested retail price between $4.99 and $5.99.

High-protein snack packs
Whisps has debuted Protein Snackers, a shelf-stable, multi-compartment snack tray containing baked cheese bites, premium salami, and dried fruit.
Whisps Protein Snackers are available in two varieties: Parmesan, Papaya, and Calabrese Salami and Asiago & Pepper Jack, Cranberries, and Milano Salami. Each 1.5-ounce pack contains 11 grams of protein and 160 calories. Whisps partnered with Fratelli Beretta to supply premium Italian meats. The Protein Snackers are keto-friendly and gluten-free.
“Our team loves compartment snacks, and we have been watching the growth of that segment, but we found it frustrating that the current offerings in the market need to stay refrigerated and aren’t as convenient because of that,” said CEO John Ghingo in a press release. “So, we coupled Whisps baked cheese with premium meat and fruit to create a better-for-you, protein-rich option adults can truly enjoy anytime, anywhere.”
Whisps Protein Snackers are available at CVS and Stop & Shop stores with a suggested retail price between $2.99 and $3.49.

Organic, zero-sugar soda
Nixie announced the launch of its new Organic Zero Sugar Soda. The brand’s founder and CEO Nicole Bernard Dawes used her experience in the research and development space to create these sodas using organic ingredients, including stevia as their sweetener.
“I have dedicated my career to challenging the conventional market by proving that products made with organic ingredients can taste as good as, if not better than, their conventional counterparts,” she said in a press release. “With this new line, I want consumers who care about their health and the environment to finally have access to these products, but without sugar.”
Nixie Organic Zero Sugar Soda is available in three flavors: Classic Cola, Root Beer, and Ginger Ale. These sodas are made with water purified using reverse osmosis filtration and are free from artificial flavors and sweeteners. Additionally, Nixie sodas are packaged in BPA-free cans that can be recycled.
Nixie Organic Zero Sugar Soda is available at U.S. Sprouts Farmers Market, Amazon, and several regional markets.ft
