IFT’s Higher Education Review Board (HERB) mission is to facilitate quality and promote continuous improvement for the preparation of food science professionals through a consistent review of program requirements established by IFT.

Toward the preparation of food science professionals, the IFT Higher Education Review Board (HERB) rigorously reviews and approves undergraduate programs that meet its Guidelines for IFT Approval of Undergraduate Food Science and Food Technology Programs (and related).
