Pam Vaillancourt, MS, CFS

Background

Pam Vaillancourt has more than 30 years of experience in the food industry as a technical manager and visionary business executive with a record of establishing sales territories and leveraging solution selling and high-level executive networking to generate enterprise leads and develop profitable partnerships.

Her prior work includes business development for clients utilizing consumer and sensory research and/or product development services and technical sales. She has also worked in food service quality control, product development, and regulatory affairs.

Currently, Pam is a technical account manager for IMCD US Food, Inc.

IFT Highlights

Pam became a professional member of IFT in 1982. She has served on the QA Division Executive Committee as its liaison to the IFT Technical and Presentation Subcommittee, as a member of IFT’s Board of Directors, and as a trustee for Feeding Tomorrow, IFT’s former foundation. In 2009, after years of dedicated service to the industry, she was awarded the distinguished honor of IFT Fellow in recognition of her leadership skills and mentorship of food science students.

Pam is past chair of both the Sections & Divisions Committee and the QA Division. She was an active member of the Puget Sound Section and Chicago Section and served as chair for each. She is now a member of IFT’s Northern California Section.

Pam is a Certified Food Scientist and has served as an IFTSA College Bowl judge for 19 years. She is dedicated to ensuring students and young professionals are supported and have the opportunity to actively grow, learn, and network within IFT to advance the science of food and food safety.
