Evergrain Sales Director/Manger

Purpose of the Job:
The jobholder is accountable for implementation and execution of the Sales Strategy for EverGrain’s product lines in North America. This includes but is not limited to:
Own day-to-day dialogue with EverGrain’s customers and distributors
Maintain CRM data entry and reporting to leadership
Become the customer feedback repository and work with the Product Owner on prioritizing customer needs
Responsibility for helping to develop and execute the pricing strategy
Meet/Exceed the Sales Plan and work with the Operations teams on prioritization
Oversee smooth customer-friendly back-office operation in conjunction with Customer Service (receipts of POs, invoicing)
Coordinate or handle daily requests by customers
University degree (concentration in food science or related area is a plus)
Advanced Business degree is a plus
Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
5 years’ experience in a commercial Sales Management role with a food ingredient company
Should have extensive industry Contacts
Good project management & reporting skills are mandatory
Experience and knowledge of startup operating models are an advantage
Background working on Agile team(s) a plus
Technical competencies: (Job related)
Strong knowledge of FMCG (and Contract Manufacturing) space and customer needs in a B-to-B environment
Strong interpersonal skills and customer relationship management
Basic mastery of food science fundamentals
Good analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure against multiple deadlines
Flexibility – able to change direction and take on added responsibility as needed
Strong organization skills; adheres to deadlines.
Basic business sense
Ability to make presentations and to lead working meetings
Strong Leadership skills & strong team player
Ability to operate across different cultural realities, having a strong skill to bridge cultural differences.
This individual reports to the Chief Sales Officer.
