Calories Count on Menus

In December 2014 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued final regulations requiring that calorie information for standard menu items be listed on menus and menu boards and foods sold in vending machines. Restaurants and similar establishments were to comply by December 1, 2016, but the compliance date has been put on hold until one year after a final compliance guide has been issued.
