IFT Press Room

CHICAGO – For the third year in a row, the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) was recognized as one of Chicago’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For by the National Association for Business Resources. Only companies that distinguish themselves as having the most innovative and thoughtful human resources approach can be bestowed this honor.

“The team of dedicated employees at IFT enable the organization to serve a range of audiences and advance our global mission,” said Lauren Friedman, IFT’s director of human resource. “We remain committed to employee enrichment because we know their success is key to the health of our association.”

As part of the application process, organizations are assessed by an independent research firm based on categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention and more.
