CHICAGO – Today, the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) announced that its 2018 tradeshow, IFT18: A Matter of Science and Food, was ranked 68th on Trade Show News Network’s 2018 Top Trade Shows list.

The list recognized 250 of the top trade shows in the U.S. and ranked them according to net square footage. IFT18, which was held at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, spanned an impressive 279,400 net square feet.

“As the premier event in the food science industry, IFT18 convened food science and technology decision-makers from more than 90 countries, including the most prominent organizations in the global food sector,” said Kelly Fox, IFT’s senior vice president of meetings and business partnerships. “This recognition from TSNN underscores the importance of the food science industry, and IFT will continue to evolve our annual event in order to integrate cutting-edge programing and engage exhibitors, attendees, and media.”
