Grilled cheese Indian style

Chef Hari Nayak of Cafe Spice was inspired by his childhood memories and a visit to India to create Naan Toasties, an on-the-go sandwich that combines the comfort of grilled cheese with bold Indian flavors, fresh ingredients, and crispy Naan bread.

Naan Toasties emulate one of Nayak’s favorite foods, the Mumbai Toastie, and are ready to enjoy in a matter of minutes. Three varieties are available, each of which is held together by crispy slices of Naan. Chutney Chicken Naan Toastie features chicken pieces smothered in a tangy cilantro-mint chutney and topped with cheddar jack cheese; Cauli Tikka Naan Toastie combines roasted cauliflower with tandoori spices and tangy tikka masala sauce, then tops it with cheddar jack cheese; and Chicken Tikka Naan Toastie complements creamy chicken and tikka masala with melted cheddar jack cheese.

Available in 8-ounce servings, Naan Toasties can be found at retailers nationwide in the deli and prepared foods section for a suggested retail price of $5.99–$7.99.

Frozen breakfast bowls

KIND Healthy Snacks recently debuted its first frozen breakfast snack, the KIND FROZEN Smoothie Bowl. Featuring a base of fruit and almond milk, each bowl is topped with creamy nut butter and crunchy granola. The 6-ounce bowls, which can be enjoyed straight from the freezer, come in four varieties and contain no more than 9 grams of added sugar and 7–8 grams of protein.

“While we’re best known for nutrition bars most often consumed on the go, we’re continuing to prioritize innovation that cuts across categories and dayparts,” said Daniel Lubetzky, KIND founder and executive chairman, in a press release. “We’ve all been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and the KIND Promise plays well within this evolving category where yogurt, smoothies, granola, and other better-for you-options have come into favor with increasingly health-conscious consumers.”

Smoothie Bowls are available in Almond + Mango Pineapple Passion Fruit, Almond + Triple Berry Açaí, Almond + Chocolate Banana, and Almond + Peach Kiwi Greens and can be found at retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $3.99.

Thin, crispy cauliflower crust pizza

Newman’s Own has introduced a new line of Cauliflower Crust Thin and Crispy Pizzas, available in Cheese and Margherita varieties.

The 12-ounce pizzas are made with 100% whole-milk mozzarella, Parmesan cheese for flavor and texture, pure olive oil, juicy tomatoes, and real cauliflower baked into the crispy crust. Both varieties contain no added sugar, are certified gluten-free, and are packed with nutrients.

Founded by Paul Newman in 1982, Newman’s Own donates 100% of the company’s profits to charity. The cauliflower crust pizzas are the latest in a line that includes salad dressings, pasta sauces, cookies, mayonnaise, and snacks, and can be found at supermarkets nationwide for a suggested retail price of $7.29.
